Survey Equipment
J.C. Smith is leaving the Surveying Business
April 27 , 2010 12:26 PM
Dear directors:
I have just spoken with Abraham Alpuerto at JC Smith who informed me that as of last week JC Smith has made a business decision to shut down their surveying shop and concentrate their efforts toward the construction industry/machine control equipment and supplies. Abraham said they may still be in the business of supplying laser scanners, but will be selling all of their total station and other surveying equipment at exceptionally reduced prices, as they wish to clear out their stock by the end of April.
Just keeping you informed of this change, as JC Smith has been a longstanding advertiser/exhibitor/sustaining member for NYSAPLS and this impacts NYSAPLS as it does the profession.
